The primary purpose of the FGCU Sailing Club is to promote and teach sailing as a sport and recreational activity within the Florida Gulf Coast University community. We provide opportunities for cruising, racing, and recreation. We strive to promote teamwork, self confidence, and seamanship through learning the skills of sailing. We offer the opportunity for our members to participate in regattas and cruises in the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association and promote the sport of sailing at FGCU. These goals shall be achieved through regular weekly practices, meetings, and participation in College Sailing regattas.  We invite FGCU students to join the club and share in the experiences of sailing.
